On the Design Wall
A few weeks ago, I spent a long weekend retreating with friends. I spent the whole time making patchwork for a giant star. By the end of the retreat, everyone was teasing me about needing to learn my shapes. For some reason, spending four days sewing squares didn't make anyone think of a star.
I completed the final blocks last week, and I just finished putting the whole thing up on my design wall. I'm very excited to see how it's coming together. I was nervous that the colors would blend too much and the design wouldn't come through. Fortunately, I think it works.
